Ascend Electronics® has a variety of instrumentation including DC Electronic Loads, AC and Electronic Loads for power input/output terminal tests. Our CENTURIA  programmable DC electronic loads are reliable, precision instruments designed to test all kinds of power supplies and components such as linear power supplies, switch-mode power supplies, power electronic components, power adapters, batteries, and chargers. Our electronic DC benchtop loads are compact and easy to carry because of their low weight. The devices have unique user-defined waveform functions for simulating real-world waveforms. Built-in data storage functions support the retrieving of previously saved instrumentation settings at any time.

In addition, Ascend Electronics® offers linkable PC-based software for remote control and programming of the instrument. For automated testing, these features save a great deal of time. We provide short circuit test capabilities to address application demands effectively. All our instruments measure precisely the voltage and current in real time. Equipped with over current-, overpower-, and over-temperature protections as well as overvoltage and polarity reverse alarms to improve product reliability. These DC loads are reliable precision instruments that are ideal for design validation tests and the automated integration of test systems.

The CENTURIA Electronic Loads

This is the title

Multi-Purpose Programmable Electric DC Power Load Ascend Electronics® CENTURIA series family provides you with a broad selection of professional high accuracy and high-performance programmable DC electronic power loads. With four basic functions and nine basic operation modes, the CENTURIA DC power loads provide sufficient solutions wherever power sources need to be tested. Especially unique CPV and CPC modes greatly improve the functionality of constant power operation. Our electronic DC loads operate at the high speeds necessary to meet the demanding transient and dynamic response characteristics required and designed for ultimate flexibility and configuration to provide the ideal load solution for testing DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, chargers, batteries, adapters, fuel cell, and power electronic components. The professional programmable variable DC benchtop Electrical Power Load CENTURIA family series is specifically designed for laboratories, product development, electronic research labs, and schools, to provide you with a power load that offers advanced unique features & capabilities. The CENTURIA is a cost-friendly and functional solution that’s made for all people that need to perform programmable, high accuracy load tests. We know you have a choice when selecting a variable DC Power Supply, but the advantage of choosing Ascend Electronics is clear. Our U.S. based operation invests more in R&D than any other manufacturer, so you can be sure that you are getting the most out of your lab’s equipment budget.
Ascend Electronics® is a U.S. based global leader in Electronic products manufacturing. The CENTURIA family is well suited for product design validation and functional testing. This programmable DC Loads are used for power conversion testing in all markets including, automated test systems, LED drivers, power supply testing, battery testing, fuel cell testing, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), circuit breakers, fuses, connectors, and many other applications. The CENTURIA electronic DC loads have many special features to support the users. One of such is the autotest function. Users can set the test mode, setting values, limit value ranges, test times, and end step. There are two trigger functions: auto-trigger and external TTL trigger, to the start of the load test. This especially helps the full testing of multi-output power supply with more than one load simultaneously. Fast transient test function enables the load to periodically switch between different power levels two levels (LevelH and LevelL), which can be applied to test the dynamic characteristics of the power supply and has three operating statuses: Continuous, Pulsed and Toggled. Besides Transient operation, the electronic load provides a more flexible list operation, with programmable duration time for each load step. Each time step can be a value between 10ms and a maximum of 99999s. Both transient and list operations can be executed in the CC, CV, CR modes.
