Laminate Havey Duty AC Grid Transformers
Laminate transformers are used in most low-frequency applications, usually between 25Hz and 400Hz. Ascend Electronics® heavy-duty transformers are designed for minimal core and copper loss and are the most efficient and environmentally robust method to step up or down grid AC (alternating current).
Power and Heavy Duty transformers are central to many low-frequency power applications. The frequency for those transformers is between 25Hz to 1kHz with power between 1 VA to 250 kVA. Only crude analytical or empirical formulas are available to calculate impedances, so computer simulations or measurements are necessary to design these power inductors. We design and manufacture application-specific and power transformers applications in the OEM marketplace.

Constant Voltage/Ferro Resonant Transformers
Ascend Electronics® manufactures various customized simple and complex constant voltage/ferro resonant transformers. These highly reliable, entirely magnetic units provide superior line disturbance isolation for units that require a stabilized current.

INTERNATIONAL SERIES POWER TRANSFORMERS CHASSIS MOUNT TYPE
Ascend Electronics international Series power transformers are designed and constructed to meet UL, CSA, VDE & IEC U.S. & international standards. This is accomplished by the dual bobbin construction including an overall insulating shroud.
